School Meals
Currently all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a daily 'Free School Meal' as part of the 'Universal Infant Free School Meals' scheme. We urge parents/carers to take up this opportunity. Parents/carers of older pupils may either pay for a school meal or claim for free school meals, if eligible.

Claiming them saves approximately £400 per year and gives £1,320 additional funding (per child) to school.

Home Packed Lunches
We strongly suggest that parents/carers providing their children with a packed lunch support the national initiatives to promote healthy eating by not including sweets, chocolate bars or fizzy drinks.
To support those pupils in school who have nut allergies, we also request that nut products are not included.
